The game is close to a state in which I would like to release it, but I need to do the following before I go ahead:

  • Check if the game even runs on a Windows machine, make it run on Windows if it doesn't (edit: works on a family member's laptop at a stable framerate but not on my machine with Wine, presuming it works, the Web version will exist for worst case scenarios)
  • Another iteration of the logo
  • Better credits and license displayer
  • Make Tree 28 never get in the way (between Ring 29 and 30, in Forest)
  • Change the ball texture on the map (lighter colours?)
  • Fix the pause hotkey not doing as expected on the pause menu's settings menu
  • Make the main menu's cube brighter
  • (Optional) A 6th level
  • (Optional) Full controller support (pretty sure the main menu is lacking controller support)

Plus things that don't relate to the repository, like:

  • Screenshots
  • A thumbnail
  • A trailer
  • Host the Alakajam build (version 20250223.2) on my server or a drive? "AKJ Tournaments" are a thing I'd like to be considerate of
