This one worked for awhile but I kept seeing more and more things about how fountain pens were great for people with arthritis, so I finally took the plunge and bought my [first ever fountain pen](https://stickerrificstore.com/en-us/products/sanrio-platinum-little-meteor-fountain-pen-03-fine) (the mymelo edition, if you're curious), and bought a converter and some ink to go with it and it's honestly been *amazing*. I love my friends and FC I've built there, but the endless grind is getting to me. I don't raid or do high-end content (because it's not fun), I already have all my jobs max level (which will have to be re-leveled when the expansion comes out since they're raising the level cap to 100)...really the only things left for me are doing FC submersibles/airships and RP. I'm only interested in sfw rp for fun (like working at a maid cafe in-game), and that's only once a week, on another datacenter, so I don't want to spend all my time away from my friends...I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't know if I can justify the expense of the subscription anymore. I took a break from playing to move, and I'm honestly enjoying my life a lot more without it, so I'm wary to return. Plus, the new content doesn't really appeal to me. + +## grieving the loss of my baby dog +Princess Nibbler left this world on October 1, 2023 at the age of 11. She was my entire heart and adjusting to life without her has been extremely difficult, but we're managing. Directly after the fact, I fully believed I'd never have another pet, because the pain of losing her was too great.
