## this website

This website is built with [zola](https://www.getzola.org/) (a static site generator built in rust) and hosted by [gitlab pages](https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/pages/). I write everything in [VSCodium](https://vscodium.com/). The site was first uploaded on 21 February 2024. The current layout is heavily inspired by the 2-column iframe layouts of the 90's/early 00's, but done with responsive css thanks to [this tutorial](https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_sidebar_responsive.asp) from [W3Schools](https://www.w3schools.com/).

My good friends [lucidiot](https://tilde.town/~lucidiot/) and egg helped me a lot with coding, troubleshooting, and proofreading (thanks!).

The background grid for both themes were made by me in [paint.NET](https://getpaint.net/) to match the sidebar graphic's color scheme, as are the site buttons. The sidebar tile backgrounds I found in an image search for tiled bgs (which I then edited heavily) and I unfortunately do not know who originally made them; if you do, please [contact me](/contact) so I can give credit! Some photo editing (brushes, blurring, filters) is done on my phone with either [Line Camera](http://linecamera.snow.me/en) or [Bestie Camera](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bestie-portrait-selfie-editor/id953511734) (also available [on android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=us.pinguo.selfie&pli=1)).
